Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased further to a high level since the last message. The largest event during the period was an M6.6 flare at 09:53 UT today, produced by target region NOAA 14366 (N13E46). The region also produced four additional low M-class flares and more than ten C-class flares during the period. 14366 has evolved into a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration, with significant ongoing flux emergence. At this time, we are implementing the Major Flare Watch campaign for NOAA 14366. Additional major flares above M5.0 are likely over the next few days.
The position of NOAA 14366 on 1-Feb-2026 08:30 UT is:
N13E46 (-684",287")
