Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The target spot region has been confirmed as being numbered NOAA 12804, with the slightly smaller spot region in the southern hemisphere numbered NOAA 12805. Both of these regions are classed as beta/C-type sunspot groups. NOAA 12804 stays as the target region by continuing to produce multiple low B-class flares (the largest being a B3.3 on 23-Feb-2021 at 00:11 UT). Further B-class activity is expected over the next 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA region 12804 on 23-Feb-2021 at 18:00 UT is:
N18W18 , ( 287", 407" )
