Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to an intermediate level, due to a C7.0 flare at 02:51 UT today from the target region NOAA 14100. This region also produced two ~C1 and a high-B flares since the last message. 14100 has continued to grow in spot maturity, becoming a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group, with the emergence of new visible magnetic fluxes surrounding its main spots. NOAA 14100 shall continue as the target region. Besides, NOAA 14099 (beta-delta/D-type, S13E25) also produced four low-C flares yesterday. Further C-class activity is expected, with a low-M flare likely in the following 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 14100 on 29-May-2025 at 11:30 UT is:
N08E36 (-552", 145")
