Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level since the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C7.9 flare at 11:37 UT today(10/23) from NOAA 13863.
Yesterday's target now rotated from the Southeast limb appears to be a bi-polar spot, but is yet to have a NOAA number. This region produced a few mid-C class flares including a C5.1 at 00:07 UT today(10/23), and is showing frequent eruptive features observed in the EUV 304A. We will continue to observe this region (center of 2 sunspots) for the next 24 hours. Additional C class flares or larger are expected.
The position of the target on 23-October-2024 at 15:30 UT is: S16E71 (-878",-301").
