Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The current target region remains unnumbered by NOAA even though it exhibits small spots in continuum images obtained from the SDO mission. This region has continued to be flare productive, being the source of the largest event since the last message (a C1.4 flare on 24-Feb-2016 at 12:23 UT). More B-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for more low C-class flares.
The approximate position of this region on 24-Feb-2016 at 15:00 UT is:
S06E54, ( -778", -30" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
