MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is low. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C1.8 produced by recently emerged NOAA 1762. The target region NOAA 1760 is mostly unchanged but quiescent since producing the M1.0 event on May 31. The target will switch from 1760 to 1762 today. 1762 developed rapidly yesterday and is currently classified as a D-type/beta region. There is a moderately strong EFR located at N13W15. 1762 is capable of producing another C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1762 on June 02 at 13:00 UT is: S30W15 (Solar X = 212", Solar Y = -467")
