MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The visible solar disk is spotless. The spotless target plage (NOAA 2556, N05W34) continues to be quiescent. The target will switch to an area beyond the northeastern limb that was the source of several B-class events and associated surges and spray-type prominences.
The approximate position of the target on June 25 at 15:45 UT is: N16E90 (Solar X-907", Solar Y = 260")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
