MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Deep Solar Minimum conditions continue. The eastern portion of the target filament has mostly disappeared since the last message. There is a tiny Cycle 24 plage with a two pore B-type/beta sunspot group located at N08W55. No noteworthy solar flare activity expected anytime soon.
The position of the target filament on June 26 at 06:30 UT is: N40W52 (Solar X = 571", Solar Y = 589")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
