Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12778 has continued to decay slightly since the last message and has been classified as a beta/ E-type sunspot group. The target region NOAA 12779 evolved further and is now classed as a beta/D-type sunspot group, as its interior spots were mostly consolidated into the main leading and trailing spots. NOAA 12779 has continued to produce multiple B-class events as well as a C1.5 on 29-Oct-2020 at 20:00 UT. More C-class activity is possible in the next 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 12779 on 30-Oct-2020 at 18:30 UT is:
S17W55 , ( 759", -324" )
