Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message due to the appearance of a new active region on the northeast limb. The region has produced several A-class flares and appears to have a bipolar configuration based on magnetogram images. This shall be the new target region with further low-level activity possible over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 30-Mar-2020 at 07:30 UT is:
N28E82, ( -840", 461" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
