Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to an intermediate level. The largest event since the last message was a C5.4 flare at 17:16 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 13961. This region also produced six low-C flares as it transited up to the South West limb, which retained its high flare productivity and a beta-gamma/E-type magnetic configuration. NOAA 13961 shall still be the target. More C-class activity is expected, with a chance for high-C flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13961 on 26-Jan-2025 at 08:30 UT is:
S10W81 (948", -153")
