Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at a moderate level since the last message. The largest event was an M4.2 flare at 22:01 UT yesterday from NOAA 14317 (beta/D-type, N12W41). Most flares were produced by the target region NOAA 14325, including two ~M1 and nine C-class flares. 14325 retained a beta/D-type sunspot group and continued to show the emergence of new magnetic fluxes in its intermediate portion, with a separation between the leading and following portions. Today, the default target shall remain with NOAA 14325. In addition, NOAA 14324 (beta/gamma-D-type N25E44) also produced an M2.2 flare in the period. Further C-class activity is expected, with a good chance for low-M flares from various regions in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14325 on 29-Dec-2025 12:30 UT is:
S09E37 (-581", -116")
