Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12665 remains the only spotted region on the solar disk, and is classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. This region has undergone significant flux emergence and spot formation since the last message, and shows some signatures of mixed magnetic polarities in its intermediate portion (i.e. gamma Mt Wilson class). NOAA 12665 has continued to produce B-class activity and the largest flare of the period - a C1.0 flare on 7-Jul-2017 at 13:37 UT. Further B-class flares are expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for low C-class flares.
The position of NOAA 12665 on 7-Jul-2017 at 18:30 UT is:
S06E54, ( -758", -134" )
