Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 11982 has remained quiescent over the past 24 hours, while the new region encroaching upon the southeast limb (the return of NOAA 11967) has continued to produce low C-level flares since the M1.1 flare yesterday. Although the magnetic configuration of this new region is unclear, it shall be the new target region. Further low-to-intermediate level activity possible.
The position of the target region on 24-Feb-2014 at 08:35 UT is:
S09E86, ( -956", -143" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
