Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's target (NOAA 11931) has remained quiescent since the previous message. On the other hand, NOAA 11928 released a series of C-class events, the largest of which was a C9.2 flare on 21-Dec-2013 at 10:36 UT. The region has emerged new flux in its intermediate portion, resulting in a strong gamma magnetic configuration, and shows multiple elongated polarity separation lines. Furthermore, the region exhibits a mixed polarity spot at its center. Further high C-class activity is expected, with a chance for an M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 11928 on 21-Dec-2013 at 19:10 UT is: S17W42, ( 632", -265" )
