Dear Collaborators,
A rapidly emerging, new cycle active region in the southeast quadrant has resulted in some low B-level activity since the last message. The region has a beta-gamma configuration with distinct sunspots, but is as-yet unnumbered. This shall be the new target region with chance for further low-level activity over the next 24 hours if the region continues to develop.
The approximate position of the target region on 24-Dec-2019 at 14:30 UT is:
S30E49, ( -644", -469" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
