Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels. NOAA 12880 has remained quiescent since the last message while NOAA 12877 has continued to produce B-level activity, as well as a C1.2 flare at 12:43 UT yesterday. NOAA 12880 has been downgraded to a beta region while NOAA 12877 retains its beta-gamma configuration, and is undergoing positive flux emergence in its negative leader spot. NOAA 12877 shall therefore be the new target region as it approaches the southwest limb. Further low-level events likely with chance for an isolated C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12877 on 1-Oct-2021 at 07:30 UT is:
S18W56, ( 756", -354" )
