MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The Target region NOAA 2916 (S17W04, E-type/beta) is mostly unchanged and was quiescent in the past 24 hours. The target will switch to NOAA 2918 for the next 24 hour period. 2918 was the source of several C-class events and an M1.8 event at 12/28/04:01 UT. The events were centered on the location of recently emerged opposite polarity flux within the region's leading polarity portion. The magnetic class of the region's sunspot group is now beta-gamma. C-class events likely with the chance of another M-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2918 on December 28 at 15:00 UT is: N21W23 (Solar X = 357", Solar Y = 389")
