Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at moderate levels with NOAA 12918 in the northern hemisphere producing a series of low C-class flares. However, the target region NOAA 12916 has continued to develop and is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type region with an area of almost 500uh. The delta spot is at the trailing edge of the region. Despite remaining quiescent, the region may become more active over the next 24 hours with chance of an M-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12916 on 26-Dec-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
S18E21, ( -333", -266" )
