Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low to moderate level. The target region,
NOAA 12232, has not released significant activity since the
previous message. On the other hand, NOAA 12230 is under-
going rapid flux emergence, currently showing a gamma mag-
netic classification. It was responsible for a series of high C-
class activity, the largest event being a C8.6 flare on 9-Dec-
2014 at 10:24 UT. Further high C-class activity is expected
with a chance for an isolated M-class event.

Solar activity is at a low level. The target region, NOAA
12222, released the largest event since the last message:
a C2.2 flare on 8-Dec-2014 at 00:39 UT. The region has
since rotated over the West limb. NOAA 12232 has newly
rotated on disk. The region was responsible for C-class
activity so far, and shows a beta magnetic configuration.
Further low C-class activity is expected, with the chance
for an isolated high C-class event.

simplified and has rotated to close to the limb. The
Major Flare Watch is ended at this time. Further low
C-class flares are expected with a chance for an isolated
high C-class flare.

and a M1.5 flare on 5-Dec-2014 at 12:25 UT, since the last
message. While the mixed polarity flux joined with the large
leading spot is decaying, its flaring activity continues. The
Major Flare Watch will continue for at least the following 24
hours. Further M-class activity is likely, with a significant
chance for an isolated >M5 flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. The target region,
NOAA 12222 is the source of an ongoing major event;
a M6.1 flare on 4-Dec-2014 at 18:05. The region was
also the source of C- and M-class events, since the
previous message. The elongated mixed polarity
structure mentioned yesterday has fragmented, and
some of the rapidly moving component spots have
combined with the large positive leading spot, forming
a large mixed polarity structure (with the smaller
negative spots joined at the trailing edge). Given the
significant activity released so far and the ongoing
rapid evolution, a Major Flare Watch is now in effect.
Further M-class events are likely, with a significant
chance for a >M5 flare.

message, a C3.8 flare on 3-Dec-2014 at 13:26 UT. The region
has released another series of C-class events. The newly
emerged flux within its intermediate portion appears to be
forming an elongated mixed polarity structure with a strong
PSL and shearing motions. High C-class activity is likely, with
the chance for an isolated M-class event.

region, NOAA 12222 released the largest event since
the previous message, a M1.8 flare on 1-Dec-2014 at
06:26 UT. Over the last 24 hours, the region has
released a rapid series of C-class events, the largest
being a C6.5 flare on 2-Dec-2014 at 15:39 UT. Coupled
with continued flux emergence in the intermediate
portion of the region, the rapid flaring is highly indicative
of further significant activity to come. Further high
C-class activity is expected with the chance for an
M-class event.
