Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has increased slightly. The largest
event since the last message was a C4.0 flare at 07:45 UT
today from NOAA 14323. This region also produced three ~C2
flares. It retained a beta/D-type sunspot group, displaying the
magnetic signs of decay. Yesterday’s target, NOAA14325
(S08W69, beta/E-type), also has experienced a further decay
and became quiescent during this period. Today, the target
shall switch to 14323 from 14325. Note that NOAA 14336
(S09E61, beta/E-type) also produced a low-C flare, with new
spots emerging in its intermediate portion. More low-C activity
is expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a low level. The target region
NOAA 14325 produced four low-C flares in the past 24 hours,
with its largest being a C2.0 flare at 21:27 UT yesterday. This
region has been classified as a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot
group. Close to the southeast of 14325, NOAA 14323 (S15W49,
beta/D-type) was also the source of two low-C flares. Today,
14325 shall continue as the target. Interested observers should
try to include 14323 in their field-of-view as well if possible. In
addition, NOAAs 14334 (S17E43, alpha/H-type), 14336 (S09E72,
alpha/H-type), and 14324 (N26W45, beta/C-type) also produced
a few low-C flares. Additional low-C activity is expected in the
following 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has grown to an intermediate level since the
last message. The largest event was a C8.3 flare at 17:23 UT
yesterday from NOAA 14325. This region also produced three
low-C flares and has retained a beta-gamma/E-type magnetic
configuration, with the sunspot area of 300 μh. Yesterday’s
target NOAA 14324 (N24W33, beta/D-type) was only the
source of three low-C flares with a significant decay in its
spot area to 70 μh. Today, we will end the Major Flare Watch
campaign, and the default target switch back to NOAA 14325
due to its high magnetic complexity and large spot area. Further
C-class activity is probable in the coming 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a low level. The largest event since
the last message was a C3.1 flare at 01:27 UT today from the
target region NOAA 14324. This region has been classified as
a beta-delta/D-type sunspot group, but it seems to display
magnetic signs of decay. Today, we will extend the Major Flare
Watch with NOAA 14324 for the last 24 hours. More low-C
activity is expected, with a slight chance for an >M5 flare in
the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to an intermediate level in
the past 24 hours. Several >C5 flares were produced by
two active regions on the disk. A newly emerged active
region NOAA 14330 (S16E09) produced two ~C6 flares.
The target region NOAA 14324 was the source of a C6.3
flare at 17:27 UT yesterday. This region has increased in
magnetic complexity to be classified as a beta-gamma/D-type.
Today, the Major Flare Watch shall be extended for a further
24 hours with NOAA 14324. Further C-class activity is expected,
with a chance for an isolated >M5 flare in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a high level, due to an M7.1 flare
at 13:12 UT yesterday from NOAA 14324. This region been
classified as a beta/D-type. Today, we are issuing a Major
Flare Watch alert and NOAA 14324 should become the new
target. Furthermore, Yesterday’s target NOAA 14325 (S08W01,
beta-delta/E-type) also produced multiple C-class flares.
Further C-class activity is expected, with the increased
possibility of another >M5 flare from these two regions within
the next 24-48 hours.
