Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar X-ray flux remains at the low B-level. NOAA 12592 has now completely decayed, and the newly emerged region NOAA 12593 has begun to decay. The new target region shall be NOAA 12595, a newly emerged compact region near the western limb. The region has a large leader spot with some possible polarity mixing in its core. Chance for some isolated low level events before west limb passage. The position of NOAA 12595 on 20-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N11W63, ( 837", 128" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains at the B-level with NOAA 12592 being the source of a B5.3 flare at 07:32 UT today. A new bipolar region - NOAA 12593 - has emerged close to disk center but has so far remained quiescent. The leader spot of NOAA 12592 has decayed completely leaving only a small trailing spot and an extended plage region. NOAA 12592 shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours with only minor events expected. The position of NOAA 12592 on 19-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N14E21, ( -333", 122" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The target region NOAA 12592 has continued to produce B-level activity since the last message, including a B6.8 flare at 10:41 UT today. The region is currently undergoing some renewed flux emergence in its trailing polarity. Further B-level activity likely with chance for an isolated low C-class flare. The position of NOAA 12592 on 18-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N14E33, ( -506", 133" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The target region NOAA 12592 produced several low B-class flares since the last message, including a B4.0 flare at 05:55 UT today. The region remains unchanged in terms of size and complexity, but shows some dynamic behavior in its leading sunspot group. Chance for further isolated low-level events. The position of NOAA 12592 on 17-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N14E47, ( -679", 150" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity continues at low levels. The new target region near the northeast limb has now been designated as NOAA 12592, and was the source of a B3.0 flare at 12:00 UT today. The region is mostly decaying plage except for a few small sunspots near its leading edge. Chance for further isolated low B-class events. The position of NOAA 12592 on 16-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N14E60, ( -803", 171" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is still at the low B-level. A new, unnumbered active region rotating onto the northeast limb was the source of two low B-class flares since the last message. Although the region appears to comprise of mostly plage, with no discernible sunspots, it shall be the new target region. Further B-level activity possible. The approximate position of the target region on 15-Sep-2016 at 20:30 UT is: N12E72, ( -889", 161" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains unchanged since the last message. The target region NOAA 12591 has almost completely decayed and has remained quiescent. NOAA 12591 shall continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours although no significant increase in activity is expected at this time. The position of NOAA 12591 on 14-Sep-2016 at 20:30 UT is: N04W36, ( 561", -30" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity continues at very low levels. The only event of note since the last message was a parting B2.7 flare from NOAA 12585 on the western limb at 04:40 UT today. The target region NOAA 12591 continues to decay, particularly in its trailing portion, and has remained quiescent. No significant activity expected over the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 12591 on 13-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N05W17, ( 278", -31" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar X-ray flux has remained steady at the low B-level over the past 24 hours. There have been no notable events since the B9.6 flare on 10-Sep-2016 from NOAA 12591. The region continues to decay as it crosses the central meridian, and it retains its beta configuration. NOAA 12591 shall remain the target region although no significant activity is expected. The position of NOAA 12591 on 12-Sep-2016 at 10:30 UT is: N05W03, ( 49", -37" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan. MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 2585 continues to slowly decay but is maintaining the leading polarity umbra adjacent to its trailing polarity penumbra. 2585 did not produce any significant events since the last message. Recently emerged NOAA 2591 (N05E13) was the source of a B9.6 event at 09/10/19:22 UT. B-class activity is possible with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA on September 11 at 06:30 UT is: N07W66 (Solar X =866", Solar Y =067") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
