Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message.
The largest event during the period was a C5.8 at 08:36 UT
today produced by target region NOAA 13599. 13599 retains
its beta-gamma-delta/D-type configuration and it seems to
continue emerging new magnetic fluxes especially in its trailing
portion. Today we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign
on this region. An isolated flare above M5 is still likely in the
next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate-to-high. Target region NOAA
13599 has undergone another period of magnetic flux emergence since
the last message, growing in spot area and regaining a delta-spot
configuration to be classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot
group. NOAA 13599 continued as the most flare-productive region on
disk with being the source of four C-class flares and the largest
magnitude flare in the period, an M7.4 on 10-Mar-2024 at 12:00 UT.
At this point we are initiating a MM#003 Major Flare Watch on NOAA
13599 due to its recent growth and flare productivity. Additional
C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period,
with a good chance for another flare >=M5.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Target region NOAA
13599 has maintained spot area since the last message, but lost
the delta configuration to be classified as a beta-gamma/D-type
sunspot group. NOAA 13599 continued to produce most flares in
the period in the form of several C-class flares as well as the
largest magnitude flare, an M1.3 on 8-Mar-2024 at 21:18 UT. More
C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance
for another M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13599 has
again grew slightly since the last message, but also increased in
magnetic complexity through developing a weak delta configuration
to be classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group. NOAA
13599 continued to be the most flare-productive region on the disk
by generating six C-class flares in the period, the largest being
a C2.7 on 7-Mar-2024 at 23:48 UT. Additional C-class activity is
expected over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for a
low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13599 grew
further in sunspot area since the last message, but has remained
classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. This region has
increased substantially in flare frequency with producing eight
C-class flares in the period, including the largest magnitude (a
C8.3 flare on 7-Mar-2024 at 06:09 UT. Further C-class activity is
expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class
flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13599 grew
slightly in number of sunspots and spot area since the last message,
including developing polarity mixing of its interior spots to now be
classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group (making it the most
magnetically complex region). NOAA 13599 has been retrospectively
designated as the source of a C1.5 flare in the period 48-24 hours
ago (on 5-Mar-2024 at 03:58 UT) but has remained flare-quiet since.
Additional C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour
period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. The unnumbered target region
has now been designated as NOAA 13602 and was classified as a
beta/D-type sunspot group, but has been flare-quiet since the
last message. NOAA 13599 (a beta/C-type sunspot group) evolved
somewhat in the period in terms of emerging some new flux and
consolidating this into more mature trailing polarity spots.
Despite being flare-quiet, NOAA 13599 becomes the new target
region because it appears to still be emerging magnetic flux.
Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13595
continued to decay in number of sunspots and spot area since
the last message, but remains classed as a beta-gamma/E-type
sunspot group. This region has decreased in flare production
but still generated a C1.6 flare on 4-Mar-2024 at 12:00 UT.
The most flare-active region since the last message is a new
flux emergence region in the North East quadrant that has not
yet been numbered by NOAA, being the source of 8 low C-class
flares. This new region has now developed small spots in both
polarities that are expected to persist, so this becomes the
new target region. It is worth noting that the primary bipole
axis is highly inclined towards a North-South orientation.
More C-class flares are expected over the following 24-hour
period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low level. A small number of low C-class
flares were produced since the last message, the largest being a C2.9
from NOAA 13598 at 03:47 UT today. NOAA 13595 remains classified as a
beta-gamma region with an area of 380 μh. NOAA 13595 will continue to
be the target region for the next 24 hours, with a chance for
additional C-class activity.
