Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. A new bipolar sunspot group has emerged
near
E65N30 and produced low C-class activity over the last 2 hours, but
maintains
weak spots. NOAA Region 11734 showed some evidence for rotation in one of
its
main spots and produced low C-class activity, but has remained quiet over
the
last 6 hours. Over the previous 24 hours, the laregest flare produced was a
C3.4
on 9-May-2013 at 05:23 UT, attributed by NOAA to region 11736 (but also
exhibits visible connections to region 11734 in EUV images). NOAA 11736
exhibits some continued flux emergence and spot growth over the previous 6
hours. Because of this and its beta-gamma magnetic configuration, 11736
remains the target region. Further low C-class activity is expected with a
chance
for an isolated high C-class event.

Solar activity is at a low level. Over the previous 24 hours, yesterday's
target
region 11739 has produced no further activity or shown any appreciable
development. Nearby region 11738 produced C-level activity, including the
largest
flare of the last 24 hours (a C2.9 on 8-May-2013 at 00:22 UT). NOAA 11738
shows evidence of a beta-gamma configuration, but has remained stable in
the
last several hours. NOAA region 11736 on the other hand has undergone
continued rapid flux emergence over the last 24 hours, and also shows
evidence
for the development of a beta-gamma configuration. Due to this and its
proximity
to 11734, NOAA 11736 is designated as the new target. A high B-class flare
is
currently under way. Further low C-class activity is expected with a chance
for an
isolated high C-class event.

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11739 has continued to
decay over the previous 24 hours. This region has decreased slightly
in terms of spot area and number of spots, while it has maintained a
beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group classification. NOAA region 11739 has
only produced one C-class flare since yesterday's message (a C1.2 on
7-May-2013 at 05:35 UT), but it will remain today's target due to its
proximity to NOAA 11738. Further C-class activity is possible, with a
very small chance for an isolated low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA region 11739 has
evolved somewhat since yesterday's message and is classified
by NOAA as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. NOAA 11739 was
the source of many C-class events over the past 24 hours, as
well as an M1.4 flare on 5-May-2013 at 17:42 UT. This region
no longer shows signs of a delta-spot configuration in its
intermediate spots, so the MM#003 Major Flare Watch comes to
an end. Further C-class activity is expected over the next
24 hours, with a chance for another low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA region 11731 has continued
to decay, losing its delta magnetic configuration and being classified
as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. This region produced only two low
C-class events over the previous 24 hours. Yesterday's MFW target NOAA
11739 has been classified by NOAA as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group
and was the source of several C-class events since yesterday's message
(the largest being a C8.4 flare on 5-May-2013 at 06:39 UT). NOAA 11739
may have a delta-spot configuration in its mixed-polarity intermediate
spots, but it remains too close to the limb to be certain. The MM#003
Major Flare Watch will continue for the next 24 hours, as the possible
delta-spot configuration indicates the potential to produce another M5
or greater flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate-to-high level. NOAA region 11731 has
decayed somewhat in spot area, but retains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type
sunspot group classification. This region was the source of one low
C-class event in the past 24 hours, and an M1.3 flare on 3-May-2013
at 16:39 UT. A new region has rotated over the North East limb since
yesterday's message, and is designated as NOAA 11739. This region
produced an M5.7 flare on 3-May-2013 at 17:24 UT and two subsequent
low C-class events. Prior to rotating over the North East limb, this
region was also the source of a flare and CME eruption on 1-May-2013
at ~02:15 UT. NOAA 11739 remains too close to the limb to accurately
determine its magnetic configuration, but is classified as having at
least a beta/D-type sunspot group classification. At this time we are
implementing a Major Flare Watch due to the increased possibility of
an M5 or greater flare over the next 24-48 hours.

Solar activity has returned to a low level. NOAA region 11730 has
decayed significantly in the previous 24 hours, decreasing in spot
area and number of spots. This region is now classified by NOAA as
a beta/C-type sunspot group and produced only two low C-class events
since yesterday's message. NOAA 11731 has also produced only two low
C-class events since the M1.1 flare on 2-May-2013 at 04:58 UT. This
region will remain the target as it has maintained spot area, number
of spots, and a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group classification.
Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for another low
M-class event.

have both maintained beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group classifications.
NOAA 11731 has stabilized in spot area coverage and number of spots, while
11730 continues to decrease in spot area and is now decreasing in number of
spots. NOAA 11731 was the source of several C-class events over the past 24
hours, as well as an M1.1 flare on 2-May-2013 at 04:58 UT. Further C-class
activity is expected, with a chance for another low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. NOAA 11730 has maintained spot
area and a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group classification while
increasing in number of spots. This region has continued to produce
several C-class events, the largest being a C9.6 flare on 1-May-2013
at 01:20 UT. Yesterday's target NOAA 11731 has also maintained spot
area coverage, but has been reclassified as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type
sunspot group. Although 11731 has produced fewer (and lower magnitude)
flares than 11730 in the past 24 hours, 11731 will remain the target
as it contains more high-gradient magnetic polarity inversion lines.
Further C-class activity is expected in the following 24 hours, with
a chance for a low M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 11730 emerged new magnetic flux
since yesterday's message to develop a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot
classification and produce several C-class events (the largest being a
C5.9 on 29-Apr-2013 at 20:22 UT). However, 11730 has shown considerable
decay of the delta spot over the past 12 hours. NOAA 11731 shows signs
of decay through fragmentation, with decreasing spot area coverage and
increasing number of spots. This region has been reclassified by NOAA
as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group and continues to be the source of
C-class flares (the largest being a C3.9 on 29-Apr-2013 at 21:55 UT).
Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for an isolated low
M-class event.
