MM#009 Default Target

Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has been at a very low level. The target region NOAA 14513 only produced a C1.1 flare at 04:12 UT today, plus three high B-class flares. 14513 has been reclassified as a complex beta-gamma-delta configuration but it continues to decrease in the sunspot area and number of spots. Additional C-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour period.

The position of NOAA 14513 on August 28 at 07:30 UT is: N04W33 (517", -32")
