Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at an intermediate level. Several flares were produced since the last message, the largest being an M6.4 from NOAA 14419 at 17:15 UT yesterday. Both NOAA 14419 and 14420 retain their beta-gamma-delta configuration, though NOAA 14419 is now situated at the northwestern limb and continuing its transition beyond. The Major Flare Watch will remain active with NOAA 14419 as the target region, however, additional attention should also be paid to NOAA 14420. Further high C-class and mid-low M-class activity is likely with the chance for additional (potentially partially occulted) >M5.0 events in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14419 on 25-April-2026 at 15:30 UT is:
N15W88, (920", 248") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
