Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a low level since the last message. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14494 (S03W35, beta/C-type), produced no significant flares and continued to weaken. The largest event during the period was a C1.9 flare at 05:31 UT today from NOAA 14498 (N14E55, beta/C-type). This region also produced several other low C-class flares and has developed rapidly, with increases in both sunspot area and spot number. 14498 is showing dynamic sunspot activity, and a new active region is emerging to its northeast. Today, the target region will switch to NOAA 14498. If possible, please also include the emerging region northeast of 14498 in your field of view. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
