Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message. The largest event during the period was an M1.3 flare at 09:51 UT today from the target region NOAA 14455 (N15E04, beta/C-type). This region also produced several C-class flares during the period, including C3.1 and C3.8 events. Continued flux emergence is visible around the leading main sunspot of NOAA 14455. A southwest limb region near S22E84 produced an M1.2 flare and a few low C-class flares in the period, but has not yet fully rotated onto the disk. Therefore, today we will continue to watch NOAA 14455 as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low-level M-class activity in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 14455 on 2-Jun-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
N15E04, (-63", 254")
