Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a low level since the last message. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14499 (N05W15), produced two low C-class flares during the period, a C1.6 and a C1.0. This region has now reduced in magnetic complexity and is currently classified as a beta type region. The largest event during the period was a C1.8 flare at 18:53 UT yesterday from NOAA 14498 (N14E15, beta -gamma/D-type). 14498 also produced another C1.1 flare during the period. NOAA 14500 (N18E21, beta/C-type) is moving closer to 14498, and the coronal magnetic connectivity between the two regions is becoming stronger and more complex. Therefore, today we will switch the target region back to NOAA 14498. If possible, please also include 14500 in your field of view. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
