Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at low levels since the last message. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14524 (N12E06), has been flare-quiet and has been downgraded to an alpha/H-type region, with decreases in both sunspot area and spot number. The largest event during the period was a C2.5 flare at 12:19 UT today from NOAA 14521 (N09W34, alpha/H-type). The newly numbered region NOAA 14530 (N19E12, beta/D-type), northeast of 14524, is showing clear signs of magnetic flux emergence. Today, the target region will switch to NOAA 14530. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
