Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a low level since the last message. NOAA 14432 (N14W74, beta-gamma/E-type) has maintained its high productivity, producing eleven <C2 flares. The target region NOAA 14436 has been classified as a beta-gamma/D-type, although it has become flare-quiet during the period. Today, the Major Flare Watch will remain active for a final 24 hours with NOAA 14436. The low-C activity is expected, with a slight chance for an >M5 flare in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14436 on 12-May-2026 at 07:30 UT is:
N19E37 (-542", 347")
