Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a low level since the last message. NOAA 14432 has been the most productive region, producing ~20 low-C flares, the largest of which was a C4.2 flare at 15:39 UT yesterday. This region has been classified as a beta/D-type magnetic configuration, with its sunspot area and number increasing. Yesterday’s limb target has been flare-quiet during this period. Today 14432 should become the new target. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for an isolated low-M flare in the coming 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14432 on 9-May-2026 at 15:30 UT is:
N14W38 (569", 272")
