Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message due to a series of flares produced by a region approaching the Southwest limb. This region emerged in the Southwest vicinity of NOAA 14411, whose sunspots had vanished by the end of 4/10. This unnumbered region produced 7 low-C class flares and several B-class flares in the last 20 hours, although it undergoes limb transit today(4/12). Yesterday's target, NOAA 14416 produced 2 B class flares since the last message, but showing no further activity during the last 20 hours.
Today we will switch the target to the Southwest limb region, expecting additional C class activities during its progression over the Southwest limb.
The position of the target on 12-April-2026 at 16:00 UT is: S07W82 (941", -111").
