Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C6.6 flare at 14:53 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 14478 (S06E56). 14478 has increased in magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma-delta configuration and produced several additional C-class flares in the period, including C5.8 and C5.0 events. Today, we will continue with NOAA 14478 as the target region, as it is showing significant magnetic flux emergence. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14478 on 26-Jun-2026 11:30 UT is:
S06E56 (-779", -120")
