Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a moderate level since the last message. An M2.8 (at 07/02/10:21 UT) and an M1.2 (at 07/02/23:03 UT) flares were produced by NOAA 14480 (S16W60, beta-gamma/E-type) and the target region NOAA 14479, respectively. NOAA 14479 also produced six C-class flares during the period. It retains a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration. Today we will continue the Major Flare campaign on NOAA 14479. Additional low M-class flares are expected with some chance of an isolated major flare above M5.0 in the coming days.
The position of NOAA 14479 on July 3 at 07:30 UT is: N17W56 (749", 248")
