Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped over the past 24 hours. The target region NOAA 14513 only produced an M1.0 flare at 12:06 UT yesterday, plus five C-class flares. 14523 has been downgraded to a beta-gamma/D-type region, decreasing in the sunspot area and number of spots. Today we will end the Major Flare Watch campaign but continue to watch NOAA 14513. C-class activity is expected with some chance of low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14513 on August 27 at 07:30 UT is: N04W21 (340", -43")
