Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has dropped to a low level. An unnumbered region near the southeast limb (S05E80) produced the largest event, a C1.9 flare at 18:42 UT yesterday, and a C1.0 flare. NOAA 14464 produced a C1.8 flare at 02:00 UT today and two ~C1 flares. This region has been classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. Yesterday’s target, NOAA 14465 (beta/C-type, N09E07), only produced a C1.4 flare. Today, the target will switch from 14465 to 14464. Additional low-C flares are probable over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14464 on 13-Jun-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
S13W36 (542", -223")
