Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has significantly increased since the last message. An M5.9 flare was produced by NOAA 14475 at 12:37 UT today. This region also produced an M1.3 flare and nine C-class flares. Today we will implement a Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14475. It has been designated as a complex beta-gamma-delta/D-type region. Please note that NOAA 14479 (N16W19) produced an M1.4 flare and has developed to a beta-gamma-delta/E-type configuration. Additional low M-class flares are expected with a chance of another major flare (>M5) in the next few days.
The position of NOAA 14475 on June 30 at 15:30 UT is: S09W58 (792", -171")
