Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a low-to-moderate level since the last message. Yesterday's target region NOAA 14498 produced only a C3.1 flare during the period. The largest event was an M1.9 flare at 15:53 UT yesterday from NOAA 14492 near the west limb. NOAA 14499 (N04W02) produced six low C-class flares during the period, including a C3.9 flare. This region has developed into a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration, with increases in both sunspot area and spot number. Today the target region will switch to NOAA 14499. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of additional low-level M-class activity in the next 24 hours.
