Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains low since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C4.3 flare at 00:15 UT today from the limb target region. This region is now numbered as NOAA 14478 (S06E68). This region produced several additional C-class flares during the period, including C3.8 and C4.0 flares, and is classified as a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot group. NOAA 14475 (S09E14, beta-gamma/C-type) also produced five low C-class flares. Today, we will continue with NOAA 14478 as the target region, due to its significant ongoing magnetic flux emergence. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14478 on 25-Jun-2026 at 11:30 UT is:
S06E68 (-871", -112")
