Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has grown to a moderate level. Most flares originated from the northeast quadrant, including yesterday’s target NOAA 14545 and a newly emerged region NOAA 14549. 14545 (N20W00, beta-gamma/D-type) produced an M1.1 at 18:36 UT yesterday. 14549 has been classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group, with the emergence of significant magnetic fluxes. It produced 16 flares, with the largest being an M1.8 at 07:47 UT today. 14549 now becomes today’s target (with 14545 included). Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance for a low-M flare over the next 24 hours.
The position of 14549 on 6-Oct-2026 11:30 UT is:
N10E08 (-132", 60")
