Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at low levels since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C1.6 flare at 16:53 UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 14530 (N19W28, beta/D- type; see the SSW Latest Events entry https://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/#C1.6_AR_4530_N16W19_Dimming_EUV_evolution_LDE_Extended_through_AR_4530_B8.3). This region also produced a few B-class flares during the period, including a B8.1 flare. NOAA 14530 continues to show clear signs of magnetic flux emergence. Therefore, today we will continue to watch NOAA 14530 as the target region. If possible, please continue to include NOAA 14524 in the field of view. Further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
