Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. Yesterday's target region, NOAA 14520 (S12W27, beta/D-type), produced only a B7.9 flare during the period and has decayed noticeably. The largest event in the period was a C5.7 flare at 21:04 UT yesterday from an unnumbered north east limb region (N12E80). This limb region also produced a C1.1 flare and two mid-B-class flares during the period. Today, the target will switch to this north east limb region. Further C- class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.

The approximate position of the target region on Sep. 2 at 11:30 UT is:

N12E80 (-920", 176")
