Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further increased since the last message. NOAA 13663 produced a number of flares, including an M9.1 at 06:02 UT today. NOAA 13663 has further evolved in complexity and is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta type region. This region also continues to show substantial dynamism in its sunspot behaviour. The Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13663 remaining as the target region. Further M-class activity is expected with a chance for an additional isolated >M5 event in the next 24-48 hours.
The position of NOAA 13663 on 04-May-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
N26W10, (149",473")
