Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has decreased to a moderate-to-low level since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C5.2 flare at 03:08 UT today from the target region NOAA 14494 (S04W21, alpha/H-type). This region also produced several other C-class flares during the period, including C3.6 and C3.5 events, but has continued to decay, decreasing in both sunspot number and sunspot area. NOAA 14492 (N16W42) is currently classified as a beta-gamma-delta region but did not produce any significant flares during the period. Today we will continue to watch NOAA 14494 as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected, with only a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.
