Dear Collaborators,

Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. The largest event during the period was an M1.0 flare at 15:04 UT yesterday from NOAA 14520, which is now near the western limb (S12W85). The target region NOAA 14524 (N12E31, beta/C-type) produced a C8.5 flare at 17:32 UT yesterday and a C5.0 flare at 10:31 UT today. Today, we will continue to watch NOAA 14524 as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected, with a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 14524 on September 6 at 15:30 UT is:

N12E31 (-481", 96")
