Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels with the GOES soft X-ray flux flat at ~A3. Yesterday's target NOAA 12693 has been mostly unchanged and is rotating over the west limb. Today the target will switch to a newly emerged region in the southeast quadrant. Minor activities are possible in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target on January 8 at 14:30 UT is: S34E03 (-50", -500")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
