MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2916 (E-type/beta-gamma) is decaying and produced only a couple of minor B-class events in the past 24 hours. The largest event since the last message was a C9.8 at 12/31/06:56. The source region was almost spotless NOAA 2918 (N20W63). A C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2916 on December 31 at 15:45 UT is: S17W44 (Solar X = 650", Solar Y = -221")
