Dear Collaborators,
Quiet-Sun conditions continue with only a few low B-level events occurring since the last message. All numbered active regions currently visible have very simple (alpha or beta) configurations, and are either in decay or due to rotate behind the western limb. NOAA 12849 shall continue to be the target region although no change in activity is expected over the next 24 hours. Also include NOAA 12847 in your field of view if possible.
The position of NOAA 12849 on 23-Jul-2021 at 11:30 UT is:
S18E54, ( -728", -338" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
