Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 13282 remained as the largest spot group on the visible disk, but decayed in terms of sunspot area since the last message. This region retained its classification as a beta-gamma/E-type spot group and was the source of several low C-class flares in the period. The target region remains beyond the North East limb, but produced a footpoint-occulted C1.6 flare on 17-Apr-2023 at 21:43 UT. This limb location remains the target for a further 24 hours. More C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, with a small chance for an M-class flare.
The approximate position of this region on 18-Apr-2023 at 15:00 UT is:
N24E90 , ( -872", 387" )
